The Pavilion design project of Master in Spatial Design designed a parametric architectural structure with accompanying furniture representing the topography of Madeira Island, using mountains and cartography as inspiration.

Project was 3D modeled with 3000 unique pieces digitally fabricated using laser cutting + cnc milling and assembled onsite. All manufacturing was executed in M-ITI Madeira, Critical Practice Lab. Project fabrication is 100% recyclable and constructed using low cost eco-friendly materials. The design team consisted of Spatial Design professors and students. Project was realized on a budget of only €2000.00
We put in 500 hours over 3 months to realize this work!
